Who we are
|
“ADaBi” comes from the Arabic word Adab, which has two meanings: ‘literature’ and ‘manners’ or ‘etiquette’. Many people focus their children’s religious education on “knowledge”, forgetting the importance of good manners. Yet, having good manners is just as important as knowledge. Imam Malik’s mother would encourage him to go to the mosque and learn from the teacher’s manners before learning from his knowledge. |

The lifestyle and manners of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were so exemplary that some of them were promised Paradise. We have so much to learn from their lives—what excellent role models they were!
Yet, there are currently very few books about their lives written specifically for children. Throughout our books, we highlight their morals and manners as we describe their lives and biographies*. |
