Who we are
“ADaBi” comes from the Arabic word “Adab” which has two meanings. It means ‘literature’ and also means ‘manners’ or ‘etiquette’. Many people focus their children's religious education on "knowledge" forgetting about the importance of good manners. Yet, having good manners is as important as having knowledge. Imam Malik’s mother would always suggest to him to go to the mosque and learn from the teacher’s manners before learning from his knowledge. |
The lifestyle and manners of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were so excellent that some of them were granted a place in Paradise! We have so much to learn from their lives. What excellent role models they were!
Yet, there are currently very few books about their lives written especially for children. Through out our books, we highlight their morals and manners as we describe their lives and biography*. |
