The Ten Promised Paradise collection
Our first series covers the 'Ten Promised Paradise' – the Islamic stories of the ten Companions who received the glad tidings of Paradise on the same occasion from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) (Jami' at-Tirmidhi, English reference : Vol. 1, Book 46, Hadith 3747; Arabic reference : Book 49, Hadith 4112 - sunnah.com/urn/636240).
They are considered as the elite of the Muslim community. Among them are the four great Caliphs but also six Companions not as well known to many Muslims, yet major figures in our history. Knowing their lives is a fundamental in the education of our children and will provide them with excellent role models.
